Lean Accounting Summit Receives NASBA Certification

More Than 22 CPE Credits Offered

Lean Accounting Summit organizers today announced certification by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). Summit organizer, Dwayne Butcher, explains, "NASBA certification is a rigorous process, but we're glad to be officially recognized so that accounting and finance professionals can not only learn about lean accounting, but fulfill their state certification requirements."

More than 22 CPE credits will be available when Summit participants attend all breakout sessions, general sessions, and a pre-Summit workshop.

Butcher further described this year's Summit, "It's a tough year, no doubt, for most companies. The organizing committee is making adjustments to provide topics that specifically address the current economic climate. One company will very specifically share how they're using the principles and practices of lean accounting to not just survive the recession, but to thrive. Another session will outline how collections can be reduced not by days, but by weeks, providing an infusion of cash into the system. These along with more intentional networking opportunities will allow companies to quickly gain a solid return on their training and travel dollars."
